Peer Review, MaryBeth Small, Will A Mammoth Walk Again?

MaryBeth Small, another member of the BIO100 class, stated that the article on cloning was an interesting one. Although the cloning of a mammoth, or another animal figure is different to that of a human clone, it is still a moral and ethical issue. Both the animal and human bodies have spirits hat are impossible to clone. Although the issue of cloning can spark further scientific research, the issue is too morally and ethically debatable to decide to go ahead with this current subject matter.

Peer Review: Ryan Rodriguez - Human Cloning Exert Doubts Claims

As a student at BYU, Ryan Rodriguez perceives cloning as an issue that stands out to the religious sects quite largely. Cloning cannot be guaranteed to work, and although the issue comes up multiple times in the article: Human-Cloning Expert Doubts Claim, Explains Issue, there is a great probability that the deformed clone may have to be disposed of. Disposing of a deformed clone is the same things as an abortion. This can be viewed as killing a human being, something that our church as well as other religious sects to do not agree with. Cloning creates life using biological engineering and then destroys the life if it does not meet the required standards. Ryan Rodriguez further discussed his opinion that cloning is unethical, and goes against his personal morals. However, this particular article seems to bring the ethical issues into account.

Summer Holidays

Uncle Dean married

Jane's uncle got remarried on Friday. It was a beautiful reception and a perfect way to catch up with the family. Jane is trying to update everybody, and is not slack... like others!

Jane went to the beach for the first time and had a lovely day beside the ocean. She hopes everyone else is having a great time.

Jane and Maddie leave Provo!

As Winter semster drew to a close, many of the girls left the YBH, and the young'uns (Jane and Maddie) returned to their hometowns. A dinner was held at Costa Vidas in their honour, and partying occurred on the last night. Jane is unsure of how Maddie is going, (she really misses her), but she know that it was really fun to see her family again. They greeted her with flowers and affections, and it is pleasant to be home, even though she misses her besties! (That's you guys)
